Description

Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a 0.6 FTE part‑time position working weekdays and weekends on a night shift.

Responsibilities

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care and optimize positive outcomes. Assists the physician or nurse practitioner during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment, while maintaining proper sterile technique.

Required Qualifications

• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) – completion annually upon hire
• 1 year of relevant experience in patient care or clinical settings (preferred)
• Experience earned through certification, licensure, military medical service, or senior clinical nursing student considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or former EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant Program completion, or CNA certification upon hire

Pay Information

Pay range: $20.19 - $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
