SmartRecruiters, Inc. is supporting New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM) in recruiting a Stockpile Program Manager to sustain and advance the City’s Emergency Supply Stockpile (ESS).

The role involves coordinating logistics, contracts, and interagency collaboration to ensure timely resource deployment during all-hazards emergencies. The position requires experience in emergency management logistics, strong Excel skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent with six years of professional experience in emergency management, fire, police, public safety, public health, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree with two years of professional experience in emergency management or related areas.
• Master's degree with one year of professional experience, two years if required, in related area.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of city emergency logistics programs including the Emergency Supply Stockpile.
• Review and enhance all-hazards logistics plans and deployment strategies.
• Develop a strategic logistics vision with practical solutions for emergency plans and response.
• Manage Emergency Supply Stockpile activities including rotation, relinquishment, procurement, and purchasing.
• Oversee planning suites and training needs for assigned programs.
• Conduct interagency meetings and site visits with partners.
• Coordinate with vendors on quotes, deliveries, and Bills of Lading.
• Identify contracts to support emergency planning and response; draft scopes of work.
