Job summary

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to support snow removal operations across Belleview, Fredericktown, Bunker, Centerville, or Ellington, MO. This entry-level role offers overtime and night-work opportunities with pay premiums.

You will operate plow trucks and spread ice control materials under supervision, perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, and assist with related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Registration in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
