Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator for the Drake Maintenance Facility. Hours vary with weather events, with an emergency wage adjustment during winter operations.

Position involves snow plowing, ice control, and routine upkeep of vehicles and sites under supervision. CDL required; overtime and night work possible.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic. Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds. Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
