Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Residential Coordinator in Fairfax, VA to provide 24-hour awake coverage at a large emergency shelter. The role includes crisis intervention, facilities management, front desk operations, and ensuring resident safety while coordinating with teams.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, a valid driver's license, own a vehicle, TB clearance, and experience in human services. Strong communication skills and the ability to work after-hours are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must own your own vehicle
• TB test required
• Experience in human services (mental health, substance abuse, homeless, domestic violence)
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour awake coverage and supervision at a large Fairfax County emergency shelter
• Handle crisis intervention, facilities management, and front desk operations
• Ensure safety of residents and property
• Perform rounds of building interior and exterior
• Distribute household items, toiletries and donations
• Conduct residential cleaning and linen washing
• Restock supplies and manage linens, towels, toiletries
• Conduct after-hours assessments and intakes for One-Night-Only families
• Utilize Google Suite in daily tasks
