Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network seeks an Emergency Services Technician II to support urgent or emergency care in our ED/urgent care setting. Under supervision, you will assist with patient treatments, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care to optimize patient flow.

You will contribute to resuscitation efforts, perform bedside tasks, and train new ED technicians as directed, while maintaining safety and quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA and/or EMT certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN/physician supervision.
• Support patient flow and monitor vital signs and monitoring equipment.
• Assist with resuscitation, CPR, and airway procedures as directed.
