Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to join our team. The role supports patients with care under medical staff direction, performs basic patient care tasks, and handles communications and procedures in a high-pace environment.

The position requires three 12-hour shifts weekly with weekend and holiday rotation. CNA or EMT certification is required, and strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CNA or EMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergent/urgent patient care under medical staff direction.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls; calls codes and overhead announcements as requested.
• Performs ECGs, splinting, and specimen collection as delegated by medical staff.
• Keeps unit and patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
