Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, Maine is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to join our growing team. This 36-hour-per-week role involves three 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation, delivering emergent patient care under medical staff guidance.

Candidates must hold a Maine CNA or EMT license, demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting while supporting patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual

Qualifications

• Must have CNA (Maine Registry) or EMT license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience in leading a team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care within scope of practice.
• Support emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer calls and route inquiries.
• Perform ECGs, splinting, and specimen collection as delegated.
• Keep units and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
