Job summary

Providence is seeking an ED Manager to support the Director of Emergency Services in planning, implementing, and monitoring patient care in the Emergency Department. The role includes clinical oversight, quality monitoring, staff education, and daily staffing coordination to ensure high-quality care.

The position requires an RN with a BSN or equivalent, BLS, and 3 years of emergency/trauma nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in process within 3 years of hire.
• Upon hire: Washington RN License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Emergency Services with planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient care in the ED.
• Provide clinical oversight and staff education and competency monitoring.
• Supervise staff orientation as developed by the Director.
• Follow up with Datix – adverse event monitoring tool.
