Job summary

Zolman Restoration is hiring a Large Loss Project Manager – Emergency Services in Southeast Michigan. You will lead and execute large loss mitigation projects for commercial and residential properties, coordinating with partners and daily stakeholders to ensure progress and quality.

You will drive schedules, manage drying operations, and uphold safety while supervising teams and ensuring reconstruction hand-offs when needed. Strong leadership, negotiation, and IICRC credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial and residential water mitigation/mold experience.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) preferred.
• Strong integrity and trustworthiness; excellent communication skills.
• Negotiation and leadership abilities to manage large loss projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall coordination and execution of large loss mitigation projects.
• Negotiate and contract scope of work with trade partners.
• Communicate daily with Large Loss Coordinator on project status, labor, and consumable usage.
• Define project schedule and track drying progress.
• Identify and resolve job-site challenges to facilitate completion of mitigation.
• Send daily written communication to all project stakeholders with progress and challenges.
• Responsible for project quality controls and job-site appearance.
• Ensure all job-site safety compliance at all times.
• Source labor and equipment as needed to execute projects.
• Conduct weekly team meetings per project with respective teams.
• Complete hand-off to reconstruction teams when necessary.
• Head off problems before manifestation.
• Assist Production Manager with day-to-day execution of residential work when workload requires.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
