Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative for Emergency Services to welcome patients, manage check-ins, and support families with compassionate, efficient service. You will help with medical records, scheduling, and using our electronic systems to ensure accurate registrations.

On-site, with rotating shifts, you will contribute to a patient-centered environment, maintain organized spaces, and collaborate with care teams to deliver quality experience for every family member.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of frontline customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families, manage patient interactions and medical records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and submit Emergency Department notices.
• Maintain organized and welcoming front desk spaces and support staff workflows.
