Job summary

Parrish Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Emergency Room. You will supervise day-to-day nursing activities, schedule staff, and ensure quality patient care on an evening, full-time basis.

The role requires active Florida RN licensure and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coach staff, and participate in performance improvement initiatives while maintaining patient-focused care

Qualifications

• Requires active Florida RN license.
• Minimum of three years’ nursing experience.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• EKG competency, if applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Associates degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns nursing care day-to-day and monthly.
• Supervises nursing staff on the Emergency Room unit.
• Ensures quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of patient care.
• Coordinates care using SBAR handoffs and complies with chain of command.
• Manages unit activities in absence of Nurse Manager/Director.
• Participates in staff development and performance appraisals.
