Job summary

Rapid Response Monitoring is a national leader in alarm monitoring with offices in California and Nevada. We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to handle alarm activations, dispatch emergency responders, and deliver empathetic service in a fast-paced call center across the country.

The role includes extensive 4-week training, weekend/holiday coverage, and shift differentials; bilingual Spanish speakers are welcome and compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, or equivalent Military, or 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service.
• Proficient computer, written, and verbal skills. Comfortable using a headset in a high call volume setting.
• Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry and security licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process outbound calls to customers and authority agencies in a call center setting, some inbound.
• Provide detail-oriented customer service and empathetic support to customers with a sense of urgency.
• Respond to, verify, and dispatches on emergency signals.
• Handle security alarm activations for residences and businesses in a professional manner.
• Multitask and remain calm in various stressful situations.
