Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department, a Level II Trauma Center and pediatric receiving facility. You will join a multi-disciplinary team, participate in unit decisions, and practice autonomy through nurse-driven protocols.
Full-time night shift 7pm–7am, 36 hours per week. Requires high school diploma, BLS/CPR certification, and ability to pass drug screens and background checks; ED experience preferred.
Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Position Purpose At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center. This unit is a primary stroke center and is a pediatric receiving facility. The unit is consistent of 46 beds, 8 of which are emergency behavioral health beds. You will engage with staff from the unit and build relationships and learn different types of nursing and become savvy with new skill sets.
In this critical role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse driven protocols.
Experience: 1-3 years of Emergency Services experience. Emergency Department experience is preferred.
Full time – 36 hours – Nights 7pm - 7am
