Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is assisting with an immediate need for an RN in our Emergency Department in Salem, VA. This full-time role offers long-term potential, a supportive team, and hands-on patient care across all ages in an onsite setting.

You will triage, assess, and treat patients, document promptly per policy, and coordinate with physicians and other departments to deliver safe, effective follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associates Degree in nursing required.
• Current Virginia RN license or multi-state compact with VA eligibility.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages in the Emergency Department.
• Manage multiple cases with acuity-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team for follow-up care.
• Document effectively and timely according to organizational policy.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments while maintaining patient safety.
