Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a competent ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Salem, VA. The role involves rapid assessment, urgent care interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ED.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and assessment of incoming patients.
• Administer medications and emergency treatments per protocol.
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and exams.
• Monitor patient status and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care.
