Job summary

The RN collaborates with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective treatment and documentation, while educating patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN VA license or compact multistate license.
• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 60 days of start date.
• PALS within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with medical providers and care team.
• Documents care in the patient record accurately and promptly.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Supports patient education on health lifestyle and self-management.
