Job summary

The RN collaborates with medical providers, performs procedures, documents care promptly, and advocates for patients and families while teaching them about care plans and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRNs or RNs licensed as appropriate for the role.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or an Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages patient pain with regular reassessments.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medical follow-up measures and self-management.
