Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room at the Willard hospital. The ER RN will deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patients, prioritizing needs, and coordinating with the interprofessional team to ensure timely and effective treatment.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and at least one year of professional experience; ER/critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• One year of professional RN experience; ER/CC preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; ACLS and PALS due within 6 months of hire.
• EPIC EHR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and determine priorities.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions.
• Develop and revise care plans to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for optimal results.
• Provide care to a broad patient population, including trauma.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
