Job summary

Mercy Health’s Lourdes Hospital ER is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality emergency care. The role focuses on rapid patient assessment, coordination with the care team, and implementing nursing interventions to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. EPIC EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or as stated; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high‑intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per state practice and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
