Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support – State of Pennsylvania.
• Upon Hire RN – Licensed Registered Nurse_PA – State of Pennsylvania.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and manages the care of designated patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to resolve patient needs.
• Coordinates and provides patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Performs validated technical skills and utilizes technology to optimize care delivery.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentoring within the department.
