Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plans, implements, and evaluates care for designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and colleagues.
• Coordinate patient and family education throughout treatment to facilitate transitions.
• Support unit and hospital goals and participate in performance improvement.
