Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville is seeking an RN to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. You will use established nursing models to advocate for patients and support outcomes that contribute to departmental performance.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, timely documentation, prompt response to patient needs, and patient-family education on condition, treatment, and lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with medical providers and care team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documents care in the patient record accurately and timely.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
