First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem schedules in Rocky Mount, VA. Shifts available include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with flexible scheduling and local support.

Competitive per diem pay and weekly pay are offered, with Daily Pay and the RapidPay Card option. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, 2+ years of ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, plus ability to complete facility credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs in fast-paced environments.
• Administer medications and treatments per facility policies.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
