Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital opportunities. Earn $57.65/hour with flexible scheduling and daily pay options. Shifts available include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, with a local staffing team providing support.

Active RN license, minimum 2 years ER experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Facility credentialing must be completed.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
