Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for Per Diem assignments. Choose shifts that fit your availability, including 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with competitive hourly pay and daily pay options.

Work with a local team dedicated to supporting patient care, flexible scheduling, and easy credentialing; weekly pay and RapidPay Card available; positions open across hospitals.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements; dependable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in acute-care ER.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice.
