Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem shifts in Virginia. Shifts include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with flexible scheduling and local support from a dedicated team.

Earn competitive per diem pay, with options for Daily Pay and a RapidPay Card. Evening and night shifts are available, and you can work as little as one shift per month while staying connected with a local staffing team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
