Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: West Chester, PA
Position Type: 13-Week Contract | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department to join a high-acuity, mid- to high-volume suburban ED averaging approximately 180–190 patient visits per day.

This is a 13-week assignment while the department recruits for full-time/permanent openings. A temp-to-hire opportunity is available and highly preferred for candidates interested in transitioning into a permanent position.

The Emergency Department cares for a diverse range of patients, including:

Medical emergencies such as heart attack, stroke symptoms, and sepsis

Trauma and injury cases

Respiratory distress

Abdominal pain and gastrointestinal emergencies

Neurologic conditions

Behavioral health and psychiatric emergencies

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

3 × 12-hour shifts per week

36 hours per week

Candidates willing to pick up additional weekend shifts are highly desirable

Requirements

BSN required

Active RN license

Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience

Trauma experience preferred, but not required

BLS required

ACLS required

PALS required

Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
