Job summary

TalentBurst in Denver, CO seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract with night shifts. You will support ED operations, provide high-quality patient care, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Must have ED RN experience and hold an active RN license, with BLS, ACLS, PALS/TNCC/ENPC. Ability to float between ED units and work nights is required; on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC and ENPC required; PALS may be substituted for ENPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, establish IV access, and administer medications.
• Conscious sedation and wound care as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor patient status in a fast-paced ED setting.

Night Shift – 2 RNs
Patient Ratios – 1:4
Type of equipment -Client monitors, Baxter pumps
EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
1-year minimum of current ED RN experience
BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC and ENPC
PALS will be accepted in lieu of ENPC
CPI Blue Card
Ability to work mid-shift/night shift
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
ER charge RN experience
Willingness to float between ED Departments
