Job summary

Surepoint Medical Centers in Texas is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care under physician orders and Texas laws. You will serve as the clinical staff liaison and support the physician in monitoring delegated tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a current Texas RN license (or compact state), two years ER experience, and active ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Flexibility to work all shifts, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with EMR systems are required.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN Nursing License or Compact State License in good standing.
• Two years of recent Emergency Room experience as an RN
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• Pass background check(s)
• Must have exceptional technical skills (IV, Foley, NG tubes, splinting, wound care, etc..)
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service
• Ability to work all shifts including day, evening, weekends and holiday hours as needed
• Effective team player
• Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Efficient time management skills with ability to anticipate workflow and perform synchronous tasks
• Basic typing and computer proficiency, preferably experienced with Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR/EPM systems, etc...
• Active participant and willing to learn and perform labs as ordered by physician
• Support and assist team with basic facility maintenance such as emptying trash, unpacking linens and orders received and keeping the facility tidy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused care per physician orders under Texas state laws.
• Serve as point of contact for clinical staff at the clinic and assist physicians in monitoring delegated tasks.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and manage supplies and equipment as needed.
• Support lab operations and assist with basic laboratory duties as required.
• Ensure safe and respectful interactions with patients and staff.
