Allegheny General Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level 1 trauma center setting. The ED operates with a 35-bed unit and is undergoing expansion to a 48-bed facility, with staff engaging in care planning and patient education throughout the shift.

Applicants must hold PA RN licensure (or multi-state licensure via eNLC) and CPR certification, with 1 year of ED experience or 2 years of acute care RN experience.

Formación

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• 1 year of Emergency RN experience or 2 years of acute care RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning for ED patients.
• Provides safe and effective care for diverse age groups in ED per regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge to execute the plan of care.
