Job summary

Altus Community Healthcare in Texas is seeking a skilled Emergency Registered Nurse to provide immediate, high-quality care in a fast-paced ER. You will work with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has at least 2 years in emergency nursing, and is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. You must communicate clearly, think critically, and adapt to shifted schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.
