Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You will work within a team nursing model, coordinating with physicians, ED techs, social workers and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have strong assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, with WA RN licensure and ED or CC experience or completion of the ED residency

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and WA RN license on hire.
• New graduate or RN without ED/CC experience may qualify with successful ED residency completion.
• BLS/CPR required on hire; ACLS, PALS, ENPC and TNCC within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement care plans.
• Administer medications per orders and document nursing actions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
