Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's St. Michael Medical Center in Washington seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a high-energy setting.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and support rapid triage, with a focus on patient safety and excellent outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• CPR/AHA BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire.
• PALS within 12 months of hire.
• ENPC within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents medication administration as ordered.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and plans care.
• Documents care using nursing process per hospital standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure rapid assessment and treatment.
• Prepares patient for discharge and coordinates post-discharge needs.
