Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department at the Town Center freestanding ED. This full-time evening shift (12:00pm–12:00am) with rotating weekends offers a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork and high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years Medical-Surgical and telemetry experience, RN licensure, BLS, and preferably ACLS, with CEN/TNCC/NIHSS as pluses.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
• Telemetry Experience (required)
• Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
• Hospital Experience (required)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)
• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical and emergent conditions
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate care with ancillary services
• Advocate for patient safety and satisfaction
• Participate in unit initiatives and meetings
