Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a full-time evening-shift role with a 1:00 pm – 1:00 am schedule, focused on high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative ED environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Med-Surg and telemetry experience, an ASN (BSN preferred), RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required).
• Telemetry Experience (required).
• Emergency Department Experience (preferred).
• Hospital Experience (required).
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in good standing; BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or emergent needs.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Serve as patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit initiatives.
