Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing, telemetry experience, and an active RN license.

BSN is preferred; BLS is required; ACLS and ED certifications are a plus. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience required for ED rotation.
• BSN preferred; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or emergent conditions
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate care with ancillary services
• Serve as patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction
• Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health
