Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Baptist South. This full-time, day-shift role requires delivering safe, compassionate care to patients with emergent conditions and coordinating with physicians and support staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of medical-surgical nursing with telemetry and ED experience; Florida RN license, BLS, and ACLS (CEN/TNCC/NIHSS preferred).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years medical-surgical nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• ED experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CEN/TNCC/NIHSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with emergent conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Act as patient advocate and participate in unit-based quality improvement.
