Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in our freestanding Emergency Department. This full-time role supports high‑quality, fast-paced patient care in Town Center.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of medical-surgical, telemetry, and hospital experience, with an active RN license and BLS; ACLS/CEN/TNCC/NIHSS are preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for external hires.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical-Surgical Nursing experience (required).
• Telemetry experience (required).
• Emergency Department experience (preferred).
• Hospital experience (required).
• Current RN license with US practice (required).
• BLS required; ACLS/CEN/TNCC/NIHSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical and emergent conditions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Advocate for patient safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in unit initiatives and meetings.
