Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN for the W.E.S.T. Float Team. You will travel between WellStar facilities providing fast, patient-centered care in busy ED settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of direct ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required; BLS/ACLS/PALS required.
• TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately and timely per WellStar standards.
