Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is seeking an experienced Incident Commander to join our Bay Area team. You will act as a liaison between Surefox and clients, coordinating emergency response and ensuring adherence to client policies and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
• Minimum 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
• Excellent Customer Service skills and professional communication.
• Pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
• Current BSIS guard card or eligibility to qualify for one.
• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• CPR & First Aid certification or eligibility.
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders.
• Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols, monitor access, deter unauthorized entry, and enforce security measures.
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center by responding to calls for service, reporting suspicious activity, security violations, and assisting with initial responses.
• Respond promptly and safely to emergencies, contact first responders as needed, and take initial action to control and secure a scene.
• Proactively investigate and report accidents, incidents, or other suspicious activity.
• Verify identification of employees, vendors, or guests and control access using badges or other credentials.
• Document security events, observations, and routine activity in detailed Daily Activity Reports or Incident Reports.
• Perform light front desk duties: greet visitors, provide directions, verify access, create a positive first impression.
• Assist employees and provide a professional, welcoming environment for visitors and clients.
• Build rapport with workplace and facilities teams, employees, visitors, and clients.
• De-escalate situations and address concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
• Work independently and adapt to varying work paces while staying focused and energetic.
