Job summary

SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC) is seeking a Fleet and Asset Coordinator to oversee maintenance, readiness, and deployment of emergency response vehicles, trailers, generators, and communications gear across the region.

This role supports hospitals, EMS, disaster response, and community preparedness. The position emphasizes field work, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory compliance with a mission to keep the region prepared and resilient.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management and asset maintenance.
• Knowledge of emergency response logistics and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and procurement.
• Familiarity with asset inventories, records, and lifecycle management.
• Experience operating vehicles and towing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, coordinate, and support SETRAC fixed and mobile assets.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance and repairs for mobile assets.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure safe movement and storage of assets.
• Assist in deployment planning for mobile regional emergency assets.
• Maintain records and compliance documentation for equipment and assets.
• Support emergency activations and disaster response operations.
