Job summary

Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council for Trauma (STRAC) seeks an experienced Emergency Preparedness and Response Division Director to oversee disaster and emergency planning, mitigation, response and recovery for TSA-P’s healthcare system. You will coordinate with hospitals, EMS providers, and local/state officials to ensure readiness and resource deployment.

The role requires advanced knowledge of NIMS/ICS, grant programs, and management of complex contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; EMT-Paramedic, Licensed Paramedic or RN preferred.
• NIMS, Hospital Incident Command Systems and NRP knowledge.
• Familiarity with ASPR, CDC and Homeland Security grant programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee disaster and emergency management planning for regional healthcare system.
• Coordinate planning, response resources, and partnerships with hospitals, EMS, and local authorities.
• Supervise contracts and manage program budgets under ASPR and DSHS.
