Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Assesses, plans, diagnoses, implements and evaluates nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds safety culture and maintains documentation in EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork; participates in continuing education.
