Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Full-time, 7pm-7am, 36 hours per week, at a Level I Trauma Center with a dedicated trauma bay and ED staffing. RNs must have an accredited nursing program, IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 3 months.

At least 1 year of ED/Tele/ICU RN experience is required, ED RN experience preferred. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practice and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS.
• PALS to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in ED, Tele or ICU required.
• ED RN experience is preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to create a safe, high-quality patient environment and experience.
