Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

• Active multi-state or single-state RN license; telehealth practice requires state licensure.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Contributes to professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Delegates appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs as needed.
• Float to other units within the service area as required.
