Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks an Emergency Management professional to lead EOC and Life Safety compliance, conduct drills, and coordinate with regional agencies. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and ability to work across departments to ensure safety standards.

You will support regulatory surveys (TJC, CMS, LADH, DHH, LASFM) and maintain preparedness through planning, data collection, and reporting. An associate degree or higher and EM certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal training in emergency management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules meetings, exercises, and activities to maintain EOC and EM compliance.
• Regularly reviews EOC documentation to verify activities and compliance.
• Coordinates and conducts EOC and LS rounds regularly.
• Coordinates, plans, and facilitates EM drills and exercises with external resources.
• Participates in regulatory surveys including TJC, CMS, LADH, DHH, LASFM.
