Job summary

City of New York’s DOT is seeking a College Aide (All City Depts) to support the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. Qualifications

• Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
• For IT-focused levels, coursework in information technology or related field with 9 credits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator with research for mitigation projects.
• Attend meetings and site visits with city, state and regional partners.
• Assist with internal tabletop exercises and coastal resilience planning.
• Assist with upgrading the winter weather reports.
• Track, maintain, and update SOPs to ensure accuracy and alignment with current policies.
