Job summary

New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks an Emergency Preparedness Data Analytics Coordinator to oversee data-driven planning for public health emergencies. You will work with leadership to identify hazards, develop emergency plans, and refine strategies based on analytics.

This role coordinates with OEPR and other divisions to ensure effective response and continuity. Responsibilities include developing risk-based plans, coordinating trainings, and enhancing staffing models

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to understand scope and impact of emergencies.
• Evaluate effectiveness of emergency response activities and recommend improvements.
• Create and update emergency response plans and disaster plans based on risk assessments.
