The New York City Department of Transportation seeks a College Aide to support the Office of Emergency Response and SIM in maintaining sidewalk infrastructure and resilience planning. You will work under the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, participating in meetings and field visits across city and regional partners.

• Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school required.
• IT track matriculation with IT-related study and 9 credits preferred for Level II/III.
• Status as student must continue during assignment period.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator with research for mitigation projects.
• Attend meetings and site visits with city, state and regional partners.
• Assist with tabletop exercises, drills, and coastal resilience planning.
• Help upgrade winter weather reports and maintain SOPs for accuracy and consistency.
